Dave & Nathan’s Blue Christmas Cabaret
Thursday, December 12th, 2024 – 7:30pm ET
General Admission – $10 | VIP – $20 (front row tables, one drink ticket, and goodies)
Dave and Nathan’s Blue Christmas Cabaret is the wild, irreverent holiday party you’ve been waiting for! Imagine your two wacky, slightly tipsy uncles, cracking semi-offensive jokes they swear are “all in good fun,” belting out offbeat public domain Christmas tunes, and dragging the audience into their raucous antics. Dave and Nathan are here to throw convention out the window and bring you a night of outrageous comedy, awkward family-style moments, and holiday cheer with a twist. From original, toe-tapping songs to unpredictable games and surprise special guests, this show is all about laughing hard, loosening up, and maybe blushing just a little. VIPs get front-row seats, a free drink, and a festive stocking stuffed with goodies—so buckle up and get ready for a night of unapologetically good times with your favorite kooky, lovable uncles! Must be 18+ to see the show and 21+ to drink!
Dave Russell
Performer, multi-instrumentalist, and the best and worst mfer you know, David Russell has been shaking up the Tampa Bay theater and music scene for over 20 years. Known for bringing high-energy roles like Jake in Evil Dead: The Musical, Sweeney Todd, and Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar to life on stage, he’s also a master of musical mayhem offstage. David has toured stages with bands like Cuban Sandwich Crisis, The Gita, and Magadog, wielding everything from keys to bass to trombone (sometimes all at once). A multiple Best of the Bay award-winning talent, he now sits in his lair, waiting to be roused to shake his big, pink ass in front of an audience to satisfy his never-ending extroversion addiction. Follow him for a wild ride across Tampa Bay’s finest stages, soundscapes, and God knows what else.
Nathan Daugherty
Performer, producer, musician, and all-together idiot Nathan Daugherty has been a “staple” in the Tampa Bay theatre scene for the last 15 years, having performed in musicals such as Into the Woods, The Producers, Chess, Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, [title of show], and unfortunately many more. Most recently, Nathan performed as a vocalist for St. Pete Pride’s 2024 Kickoff show, opening for RuPaul’s Drag Race Winner Sasha Colby. Outside of theatre, Nathan has been a producer and emcee for Burlesque shows – don’t worry, his clothes stay ON. Nathan was the co-writer of the hit Aspirations Winery production of Murder at the Jazz Club, and really hopes this show comes even remotely close to the success of that one. Follow him everywhere, @BurlyNathan.
